Dieser Aufsatz aus Edelstahl ist eine praktische Ergänzung zur Feuerhand Sturmlaterne und eine Weiterentwicklung der „Sturmkappe“, einem patentierten Windschutz für Frischluft-Sturmlaternen aus dem letzten Jahrhundert.
Der Sturmkocher SK1 wird einfach auf den Kamin der Laterne gesteckt, dadurch wird das Metall von der Laternenflamme erhitzt. Auf das abnehmbare Kreuz aus verchromten Stahl können Tassen oder kleine Töpfe gestellt werden. Dabei wird die Abwärme der Laterne genutzt, um Speisen oder Getränke zu erwärmen oder effektiv warm zu halten.
Das funktioniert gut, aber ACHTUNG – der Aufsatz wird sehr heiß!
Nachdem die Lampe gelöscht wurde, kühlt der Sturmkocher schnell ab und kann wieder verstaut werden. Durch das verwendete Material ist er praktisch unverwüstlich.

The Sturmkocher SK1 is simply placed on the chimney of the lantern, whereby the metal is heated by the lantern flame. Cups or small pots can be placed on the removable cross made of chromed steel. The remaining heat from the lantern is used to heat food or drinks or effectively keep them warm.
This works well, but CAUTION – the attachment gets very hot!
After the lamp goes out, the Sturmkocher cools down quickly and can be stowed away again.
The material used makes it almost indestructible.
Der Sturmkocher kann natürlich auch benutzt werden, wenn der originale Sturmkappe Lampenschirm genutzt wird. The Sturmkocher can of course also be used when the original Sturmkappe lampshade is used.
Wir nutzen den Sturmkocher nicht nur, um mal ’nen Kaffee oder Tee warmzuhalten, sondern auch mit einer kleinen Schale, um Duftöle zu verdunsten… Die Wirksamkeit von Citronella gegen Mücken wurde sogar in einer Studie bewiesen!
