Lange haben wir immer mal wieder darüber nachgedacht, wie toll es wäre, das Lochplatten System des großen schwedischen Möbelhauses mit seinen vielfältigsten Möglichkeiten nicht nur zu Hause, sondern auch unterwegs im Bulli nutzen zu können. Ikea selbst bietet unheimlich viel Zubehör an und im Internet gibt es tausende Druckvorlagen für 3D-Drucker für die unterschiedlichsten Anwendungsbereiche. Also geradezu dazu prädestiniert um im Bulli eingesetzt zu werden.
For a long time, we have occasionally thought about how great it would be to use the pegboard system of the large Swedish furniture store with its diverse possibilities not only at home but also on the go in the camper van. Ikea itself offers an incredible amount of accessories, and on the internet, there are thousands of 3D printer templates for various applications. So it’s practically predestined for use in the camper van.
Das System in einem Transporter anzubringen ist kein Hexenwerk, in einem Fensterbus sieht das schon anders aus. Deshalb wollten wir uns ein System einfallen lassen, bei dem wir die Platte, ohne kleben oder bohren, im Bereich der Fenster anbringen konnten. Außerdem sollte das System innerhalb weniger Minuten ein- und ausgebaut werden können.
Also haben wir uns einen 3D-Drucker gekauft und angefangen CAD zu lernen, um unsere Idee umsetzen zu können…
Installing the system in a regular van without windows is not rocket science, but it’s a different story with a van with windows. That’s why we wanted to come up with a system where we could attach the board to the window area without the need for gluing or drilling. Additionally, the system should be easily installable and removable within a few minutes. So, we bought a 3D printer and started learning CAD to bring our idea to life…
Als erstes haben wir uns zwei 2020 Alu-System Profile in schwarz eloxiert besorgt, die uns als Querträger dienen sollen.
Um diese im Fensterbereich befestigen zu können, haben wir passgenaue Halter entwickelt, die auf dem Profil verschoben und durch eine Rändelschraube in ihrer Position gesichert werden können. Jeweils einer dieser Halter wird links und rechts auf das Profil aufgeschoben.
Dann wird das Profil in den Fensterauschnitt vor die Scheibe gehalten und die Halter links und rechts hinter die Verkleidung der B- und C-Säule geschoben und mit der Rändelschraube fixiert. Das Gleiche passiert mit dem zweiten Halter. Jetzt werde die Halter grob oben und unten ausgerichtet und danach die Skådis-Platten von vorne verschraubt. Vor dem eigentlichen Festziehen der Platten können diese, bedingt durch ihre Langlöcher, optimal in der Höhe angepasst werden.
Firstly, we acquired two 2020 black anodized aluminum system profiles to serve as crossbars. To attach these in the window area, we developed custom brackets that can be slid onto the profile and secured in position by a knurled screw. One of these brackets is slid onto the left side, and another onto the right side of the profile. Next, the profile is held in front of the window cutout, and the brackets on the left and right are slid behind the trim of the B and C pillars, securing them in place with the knurled screw. The same process is repeated with the second bracket. Now, the brackets are roughly aligned both at the top and bottom, and then the Skådis panels are screwed in from the front. Before finally tightening the panels, they can be adjusted in height as needed, thanks to their elongated holes.

Seid bitte nachhaltig – kauft gebrauchte Lochplatten! Sie müssen eh zurecht gesägt werden! Please be sustainable – buy used pegboards! They need to be cut to size anyway!
